Lemon Cheesecake Crescent Rolls
Imagine biting into a warm, flaky crescent roll filled with a creamy, lemon-infused cheesecake filling. That's exactly what you get with these Lemon Cheesecake Crescent Rolls. The tangy zest of lemon combined with the richness of cream cheese creates a dessert that's both refreshing and indulgent.
Ingredients:
4 ounces cream cheese, cold
2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
Zest of 1/2 lemon
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Zest of 1/2 lemon
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon extract, and lemon zest until well combined.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each triangle.
Gently roll up the dough, starting at the wider end, and tuck in the corners to form crescent shapes. Place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the rolls to cool on a wire rack.
For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled rolls.
