Chicken Lo Mein

Ingredients:
8 ounces lo mein noodles or spaghetti
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup snow peas
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 green onions, sliced
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:

Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.

Add sliced chicken to the skillet; cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.

Stir in mushrooms, carrots, snow peas, and minced garlic; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and red pepper flakes.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture; toss to coat evenly.

Add cooked noodles to the skillet; toss until well combined and heated through.

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
