Peach Basil Lemonade
Ingredients:
* 4 lemons, juiced
* 1 cup granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup water
* 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnish
* 1/4 cup honey (optional, for sweetness)
* Ice
Instructions:
* Make the peach puree: In a blender, combine the peaches, 1/2 cup water, and 1/4 cup basil leaves. Blend until smooth.
* Make the simple syrup: In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and honey (if using). Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
* Combine ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree, lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining basil leaves. Stir well.
