Ingredients:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
2 large eggs, beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Vegetable oil, for frying
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions:

Prepare the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Set Up the Breading Station:
In one shallow bowl, combine the flour with garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
In a second shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
In a third shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

Coat the Shrimp:

Dredge each shrimp first in the seasoned flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure an even coat.

Fry the Shrimp:

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. The oil should be about 350°F (175°C). Test the oil by dropping a small piece of breadcrumb into it; if it sizzles, it’s ready.
Fry the shrimp in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove the shrimp from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Garnish and Serve:

Arrange the crispy shrimp on a white plate, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side for added zest.
