**Ingredients:**
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter (for frosting)
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2-3 tablespoons heavy cream (for frosting consistency)
- Chocolate chips (for garnish)
- Melted chocolate drizzle (for garnish) 
**Directions:**
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat together vegetable oil, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then stir in vanilla extract.
5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Start and end with the dry ingredients.
6. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with the batter.
7. In a small bowl, mix peanut butter and powdered sugar to create the lava filling. Drop a teaspoon of the mixture into the center of each cupcake.
8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until set. Allow to cool completely.
9. For the frosting, beat butter and creamy peanut butter until smooth, then add powdered sugar and heavy cream to reach a fluffy consistency.
10. Pipe the frosting onto cooled cupcakes, drizzle with melted chocolate, and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
