- 200g granulated sugar
- 200g unsalted butter (softened)
- 4 large eggs (~200g)
- 10g baking powder
- 120g milk
- 5g vanilla extract

- 250g unsalted butter (softened)
- 500g powdered sugar
- 30g milk
- 5g vanilla extract
- Yellow food coloring (as needed)

### 🧑‍🍳 Instructions:

#### 1. **Bake the Cake:**

- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line two 8-inch (20 cm) round cake pans.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift the flour with baking powder.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Divide batter evenly between the two pans.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cakes cool completely.

#### 2. **Prepare the Frosting:**

- Beat the butter until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing slowly at first, then increasing speed.
- Add milk and vanilla extract, beating until light and fluffy.
- Divide frosting into 2–3 portions and tint each with different amounts of yellow food coloring to create an ombre gradient.

#### 3. **Assemble & Decorate:**

- Level the cooled cakes.
- Spread a layer of frosting between them.
- Apply the frosting in ombre layers, starting with white or pale yellow at the top and gradually increasing the yellow intensity toward the base.
- Decorate with yellow spherical candies and golden beads for a beautiful finish.
