Classic Creamy Tartar Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 tablespoons capers, finely chopped
1/4 cup pickles or dill relish, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
Add the chopped capers, pickles (or dill relish), fresh parsley, and onion powder. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
Season the tartar sauce with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the flavors to your preference.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve chilled with your favorite seafood, fried fish, or as a dipping sauce for crispy fries.
