Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
For Decoration:
12-15 white chocolate hearts (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring, mixing until fully combined.
Mix Dry
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
Shape the Cookies:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll them into balls, and place them on the baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
Bake:
Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft. Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool for 2 minutes.
Add the Chocolate Hearts:
While the cookies are still warm, gently press a white chocolate heart into the center of each cookie. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack, allowing the chocolate to set.
